These new volumes cover Lee Kuan Yew’s tenures as senior minister and minister mentor, starting with Lee’s interview with Nippon Hoso Kyokai (NHK) on 18 December 1990 and ending with his speech at NTUC’s 50thanniversary dinner on 13 May 2011, chronicling Lee’s political statements and thoughts as the nation went through significant changes and crises, such as the Asian financial crisis of 1997, the SARS outbreak of 2003, and the intense fight against terrorism. Lee stepped down as minister mentor on 21 May 2011.

About Lee Kuan Yew
Lee Kuan Yew (1923– ) is a prominent好物分享 Singapore statesman. He was the first prime minister of the Republic of Singapore and governed the island nation for three decades(1959–1990). By the time he stepped down to enable a smooth leadership renewal, he had become the world’s longest-serving prime minister. He was Singapore’s senior minister from 1990 to 2004 and then minister mentor from 2004 to 2011. As one of the founders and the first secretary-general of the People’s Action Party, he led the party to eight victories from 1959 to 1990, oversaw the separation of Singapore from Malaysia in1965, and engineered its subsequent transformation from an underdeveloped colonial outpost with no natural resources into a first-world Asian Tiger. He has remained one of the most influential political figures in Southeast Asia.

中美貿易戰下，華為處境艱難。 聯合報系資料照片 分享 facebook 開店送禮推薦春節送禮推薦 中方近來在貿易問題上頻頻反制美方，學者分析，象徵「中國夢」的華為遭美方「霸凌」後，中國已做好全面經濟戰準備，人民幣、稀土牌都已上膛，但開打與否還是取決於美方。美國商務部5月15日指出，將把華為和70家附屬事業列入美國出口管制的「實體清單」（Entity List），禁止華為在未經美國政府許可下，向美國企業取得零組件和技術。這項禁令目前仍在90天豁免期內。. } }); } 忍耐了兩個多星期後，中國商務部5月31日祭出具體反擊，表示將設立「不可靠實體清單」制度。而在明天上午，中國國務院新聞辦公室將舉行記者會並公布白皮書，說明中方對中美經貿磋商的立場。華中科技大學經濟學院國際經濟與貿易系教授陳波表示，中方一改過去盼將貿易戰範圍控制在進出口問題上，現已做好全面開打、擴大至經濟戰的準備，近來一連串舉動釋出「準備好談不成，並奉陪到底」的訊號。關於中方欲建立「不可靠實體清單」，陳波認為，中方在對美企出手時將會顧及中國自身發展需要，例如谷歌（Google）遭受制裁機率相對較小，因為中國需要谷歌協助人工智慧（AI）的建設。陳波說，然而像晶片業者如高通、美光就很難說，它們生產的晶片，在中國或自國內外都可以找到替代。至於中方下一步貿折扣好康易反制作為，陳波認為，上班族省錢大作戰熱銷排行榜包括官方會樂見人民幣貶值而不干預，再來是打出屢被提及的「稀土牌」；最後，中國繼續堅持對外改革開放，但單方面對美國喊暫停。陳波指出，對中國政府而言，華為被美方「霸凌」的情況，和先前中興通訊遭美國斷供的意義大為不同。中興通訊沒有核心技術，但華為是中國通訊科技的領頭羊，是中國科技夢想的縮影，「打華為就是打中國夢」。中國人民大學國關學院教授時殷弘表示，中美貿易摩擦形勢比過去嚴峻，最主要就是美方要求中國進行結構改革，透過修改法律迫使本日刷卡購買商品折扣中國的國家角色退出國內外經濟活動，「這是要中國徹底投降」。此外，包括華為在內的中國高科技企業一直「被整」；再者，美方多次揚言，即使達成貿易協議，也不會撤掉大部分已加徵的關稅。被問及中美貿易戰是否將全面開打，時殷弘強調，中國在戰略上還是採回應式的，若美國執意全面開打，中國的報復會更廣泛激烈，但也不能說是全面，畢竟中方作為順差國，反制作為相對有限。
水獺寶寶頭好壯壯 呆萌健檢全過關
【台灣醒報記者楊蕓台北報導】一雙圓滾滾的眼睛與短小的耳朵，動物園的歐亞水獺寶寶做完健康檢查後，露出無辜又呆萌的表情，似乎還不知道發生什麼事，模樣超可愛！台北市立動物園發言人曹先紹25日開心宣佈，歐亞水獺「金莎」的雙胞胎寶寶「浯優」和「浯綠」不僅非常健康，「尤其都有著一口潔白的牙齒，讓醫師忍不住大大讚美一番，直說雙胞胎可以去代言潔牙商品了！」
今年農曆春節，台北市立動物園裡的歐亞水獺「金莎」順利產下2隻小寶寶，園方當時邀請金門縣政府與金門國家公園，舉辦新生水獺寶寶的命名活動，票選後將寶寶命名為「浯優（公）」和「浯綠（母）」（金門舊稱「浯洲」，取「浯」和「無」的諧音，祝福兩隻新生寶寶過著無憂無慮的生活。）
「金莎是一位非常稱職的母親，總是寸步不離、保護得滴水不漏，導致保育員實在很難找到機會仔細為牠們進行基礎的形質測量。」曹先紹說，好不容易等到牠們長大了，學會游泳和捕魚的技巧之後，媽媽才比較放心讓牠們自由活動，「於是某天趁著雙胞胎和媽媽短暫分開的時機，保育員立刻關上隔離門，並將寶寶們分別抱進運輸籠裡，送到動物醫院進行全面性的健康檢查。」
醫療團隊完成各項檢查後，確認兩隻歐亞水獺寶寶都非常健康，「浯優」的體型較大（體重約3.3公斤），「浯綠」則像媽媽比較纖細（體重約2.6公斤）。等麻醉藥劑消退甦醒後，一回到熟悉的環境後，兩隻寶寶便自顧自地玩起了捉迷藏遊戲，讓一段時間沒看到小孩的「金莎」在活動場內四處找了一輪，等找到兩個心肝寶貝後，一家3口便回到巢箱內，窩在一起舒服的睡午覺。
